Club captain Hugo Lloris, who missed Spurs’ defeat at Manchester City on Saturday, is recalled to the starting XI as Pochettino makes five changes for Brighton’s visit.


Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama have also been given the nod while striker Fernando Llorente starts too.


Chris Hughton has made six changes to his Seagulls side that drew to Wolves.


Martin Montoya, Bernardo, Yves Bissouma, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Florin Andone and Jurgen Locadia replace Bruno, Gaetan Bong, Davy Propper, Solly March, Glenn Murray and Jose Izquierdo.
