Manchester United have struggled for form in recent weeks and some fans have questioned the effort some players are making.
Anthony Martial appears to have perfectly epitomised that criticism with one of the most lethargic pre-match warm-ups you’re ever likely to see.
The 23-year-old Frenchman was named among the substitutes by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for Sunday’s match with Chelsea, a decision which looked to have affected his mood as he cut a disinterested figure while his team-mates prepared before kick-off.
One eagle-eyed Man United supporter filmed Martial during the warm up as the former Monaco attacker could be seen with his hands behind his back, hardly breaking a sweat.

Martial’s frustrations would hardly have been assuaged as he failed to make it off the bench in the 1-1 draw.
Martial, who has started just three of his side’s last 12 Premier League games, has scored 10 times in 26 Premier League appearances this season. He was one of the players named by former defender Gary Neville as not being able to fulfil Solskjaer’s demands.
Neville said: “I look at Romelu Lukaku, I look at Alexis Sanchez who looks like his legs are struggling, I look at Anthony Martial, who plays in fits and starts.

“You think about the amount of runs [Sadio] Mane and [Mohamed] Salah make from those wide positions through full-backs and centre-backs.
“Martial doesn’t do that, Martial likes to play when he wants to play when he gets the ball. I don’t see him running without the ball anywhere near as much as he should do.”
United fans were astonished when they saw the video of Martial’s warm up being shared on social media, with many expressing vocal criticism of the France forward.
Sunday’s draw with Chelsea means United’s chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League hang by a thread. The Red Devils are currently three points behind the Blues in fourth place with just two matches left to play.
